- Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to specifications.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Evaluate and select vendors and subcontractors based on technical capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure sustainability practices are incorporated into MEP designs, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering within commercial or industrial sectors.
- Experience with advanced design software like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM technologies.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale MEP projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
